Pete McCaldon

I’m an an occasional leisure painter and have been drawing, painting and making pictures on and off for the past ten years or so. Heeding the advice of two teachers: ‘Remember, you’re not making great art’; ‘If you can look and can write the alphabet then you can draw anything’. As my limitations become obvious, I skip hopefully to  different media, techniques and subjects. I have a particular fondness for print-making, with its strange marks and serendipity. And an aspiration to make pictures that are interesting.
